🇺🇸 JUST IN: The US Fed, OCC, and FDIC jointly clarify that tokenized securities should receive the same capital treatment as traditional securities.
The ruling applies regardless of whether they're issued on permissioned or permissionless blockchains.
what. the. f*ck! 😳
I woke up to a text from my brother telling me Spotify had announced that my podcast is the 2nd biggest show globally behind Joe Rogan....
i genuinely don't know how to say this, so I'm just going to word vomit it out...
How f*cking weird is that? Like truly... how weird is that!?
The Diary Of A CEO started in my spare bedroom at 2am back in 2017. Episode 1 was edited by me on Garageband (sorry about that episode) and I used a sock as the pop-shield 🧑🏿💻🧦
We got 40 downloads in the first week 🤗
I kept going because I loved it. It was therapy - as an introvert, I love deep meaningful conversations, and they're rare in a world full of small talk - so I found my own little place to connect with people on the level that I enjoy.
It turns out so many of you - like those kinds of conversations too!
If my mates Ash Jones and Oliver Yonchev - who are always the first to tell me when something is crap - hadn't told me they thought it was decent, I probably wouldn't have had the confidence to continue...
isn't it crazy how a few supportive words from someone you trust can genuinely shift the trajectory of your life...
Life is so weird man
thank you. For the feedback, for tuning in, the comments, the guest suggestions, for showing up every week, for enabling all of this, for coming to our events, for your kind words, and for being there through the sunshine and the rain!
I won't let you down ❤️👊🏾
anyway, back to work
P.S. shoutout to all my incredible friends on this list @ChrisWillx@hubermanlab@jayshetty@melrobbins ❤️
Someone who doesn’t have much can be more generous giving a little than a rich person giving a lot. Some people respond to the generosity while others respond to the money. You want the first type with you, and you always want to treat them generously.
When I had nothing, I was as generous as I could be with people who appreciated my generosity more than the higher levels of compensation others could afford to give them. For that reason, they stayed with me. I never forgot that, and I made a point of making them rich when I had the opportunity to do so. And they in turn were generous to me in their own way when I needed their generosity most. We both got something much more valuable than money—and we got the money too.
Remember that the only purpose of money is to get you what you want, so think hard about what you value and put it above money. How much would you sell a good relationship for? There’s not enough money in the world to get you to part with a valued relationship. #principleoftheday
I went through 3 different types of free internships working on socials x 3 mths for each until I landed an intern role with CoinMarketCap. I had no SMM experience at all so I thought building my experiences with crypto startups were the best way to go. No regrets tho
If there’s one thing I’d tell myself to boost my career pivot as a social media intern in crypto, it would be making a content pitch to the company to showcase how I can help upgrade their social media game.
It would have saved me a lot of time from doing free internships. 😮💨
