I made one simple point, and it clearly rattled this CJP spokesperson.

Who is going to speak for the Gen Z of rural India? The students protesting in Jharkhand and Punjab may not be curating an “aura” online or chasing “main character energy”, but they are young Indians with genuine concerns about their future. Why should their voices be ignored simply because they don’t fit your social media stereotype?

Ironically, when I merely asked him not to keep speaking over me—a basic courtesy to a fellow young panelist—his response wasn’t to address the issue, but to ask my age. That’s the level of the argument.

For the record, I am the same age as your Convener @abhijeet_dipke , the same age as your Co-Convener @AshutoshRanka, and younger than seven members of your own recently announced National Committee.

Please stop issuing certificates on who qualifies as “Gen Z.” You are not the thekedar of India’s youth.
