Bears QB Caleb Williams says, correctly in my opinion, that at that stage of the game his job is to run what's called and let the coaches decide on timeouts.
He's right. Matt Eberflus cannot leave that on a rookie quarterback. Inexcusable.
I love this explanation by C.S. Lewis re: why understanding the past is so important (as a real life-enhancing element...not as a curiosity-satisfyer).
It's like another physical sense. Touch, taste, sight, hearing, time perspective, smell, etc.

Former USAF full bird Colonel shares (anonymously for now) his dramatic encounter with a UFO in 1980! I’m nudging him to fully come forward as we need pilots to educate people like @michaelshermer that some encounters defy a conventional explanation. #uap#USAF
Cosmic Webb, meet cosmic web 🤝
Galaxies gather in clusters and threads stretching across the universe, punctuated by vast voids. Now Webb has discovered an early strand of this cosmic web — 10 galaxies that existed 830 million years after the big bang: https://t.co/cUuZMDgZ7J
Of course Saturn brought its ring light 🪐
Webb took its first near-infrared look at Saturn on June 25. The planet appears dark at this wavelength, as methane gas in its atmosphere absorbs sunlight — but its icy rings stay bright! Learn more: https://t.co/M27lrHPaTM
A 3000-year-old sword has been dug up by archaeologists in Germany and is so well-preserved it's still shiny and is thought to be from the late 14th Century BC, during the Bronze Age.
The bronze blade with an octagonal hilt (which means its handle has eight sides) was discovered in a grave along with other items, in the southern town of Nördlingen.
The sword was discovered in a grave containing the remains of a man, woman and teenager who were all buried within a short time of each other – though it's not known at this point whether they were related. It's been provisionally dated to the 14th century BCE, roughly the middle of the Bronze Age, and is considered a rare find for this period.
