A veteran’s “Advice to Young Officers from a Regimental Officer” is more than an article—it is timeless military wisdom. Rooted in character, humility, professional excellence, and genuine care for soldiers, it reminds us that leadership is earned daily through personal example. It deserves its place as essential reading for every young Engineer officer. Great regiments are built not merely through victories, but through values passed from one generation to the next. Read it. Reflect on it. Live it.
