Trump just signed off on a 30-year deal that gives Saudi Arabia the green light to enrich its own uranium. The U.S. isn’t even requiring them to agree to the IAEA’s nonproliferation “gold standard” to do it. The deal is headed to Congress now.
Let this sink in. No binding safeguard against the material being diverted toward a nuclear weapons program. In the most volatile region on earth. Announced the same week the U.S. is still bombing Iran to stop it from doing exactly this.
This is not happening in isolation:
→ Jared Kushner (Trump’s son-in-law and “Special Envoy for Peace”) took a massive $2B from the Saudi PIF to open up his brand-new investment firm (Affinity Partners) just after Trump left office after his first term. As of this spring, Democrats were still demanding he comply with the financial disclosure required of special government employees. He hasn’t done so.
→ Eric Trump and Don Jr., who run the Trump Organization while their father is in office, have struck roughly $10B in Saudi-backed developments in the family business.
→ In November, the administration approved the sale of up to 35,000 of Nvidia’s MOST advanced AI chips (worth roughly $1B) to Saudi Arabia’s state AI firm, reversing restrictions that were put in place specifically because of the risk those chips get diverted to China.
Each one of these FACTS on their own is a conflict of interest. Together, it’s a consistent pattern where the family profits while the President sets policy toward the same government paying them.
So when is enough enough??? Restricted chips getting waved through wasn’t the line. Billions of dollars flowing to the President’s sons while he’s in office wasn’t the line. Now we’re talking about a pathway to nuclear material.
This is just Saudi Arabia; similar grifts are happening all across the Gulf States.
At what point does Congress stop treating this as a joke and put our COUNTRY and our national security above their own political interests????
Donald Trump is subpoenaing journalists — demanding they betray their sources — and now he's targeting their families too. This is straight-up authoritarian intimidation. When a leader weaponizes the full power of government to silence the press and terrorize their loved ones, democracy itself is under attack. We cannot allow this.
Op: @thebriefingwithpsaki
It’s so weird all the MAGAs here keep whining about the SAVE Act, but have no issues with all the cuts to election security Trump has made.
CISA election security → reduced
EI-ISAC → ended
MS-ISAC support → reduced
FBI Foreign Influence Task Force → disbanded
ODNI Foreign Malign Influence Center → gutted/restructured
State Department counter-disinformation office → shut down
Election Assistance Commission → leadership removed
DOJ election enforcement units → reduced/reoriented
How about we fix that first MAGAts and then we can talk.
THE TRUTH ABOUT NEW JERSEY: It was a glitch.
These individuals did not try to register to vote as U.S. citizens.
When they applied for driver’s licenses or state IDs, they correctly identified themselves as non-citizens.
The problem was the state’s Motor Vehicle Commission system. A software glitch overrode their non-citizen status and mistakenly added them to the voter rolls.
A government data processing failure, not a scheme by non-citizens to register to vote.
BREAKING: Trump lies that Americans support his war with Iran by citing a new poll. He’s lying about the poll. Only 16% of Americans say that we should continue the war even if it increases costs at home. The war has sent costs soaring.
Politico: The Trump administration ignored warnings from career Commerce Department officials when it gave the United Arab Emirates broad access to advanced U.S. semiconductors and other sensitive technology, according to multiple former officials and others familiar with the matter.
The move, announced on July 10, loosened export restrictions despite internal recommendations against it, surprising staff at the agency responsible for protecting sensitive U.S. technology.
Internal reports warned that expanding the UAE’s access to advanced U.S. AI chips and technology could allow it to fall into the hands of adversaries, particularly China.
Manufacturing jobs grew under Biden to a peak of almost 13 million.
Under Trump, they’ve declined despite his promises to “bring jobs back home.”
My @Morning_Joe Chart
A Chinese-born crypto billionaire named Justin Sun put $75 million into Trump’s crypto company and another $19 million into his memecoin.
At the time, the SEC was suing him for fraud.
Weeks after he bought in, the SEC quietly paused the case.
He paid the president’s family nearly $100 million. Then his fraud problem went away.
I wanted to use Trump's threat to levy 50% tariffs on Canada to discuss the behavioral reasons why I believe Trump is so fixated on tariffs.
Two cornerstone objectives for Trump, especially now that he's playing out his final chapter on Earth, are greed and grandiosity. These two things, which interrelate, permeate everything he craves. He is a giant id. He wants awards, he wants things named after him, he wants $10B here and billions more there, and all of that is but a subset of what he really wants: The knowledge and belief that he can do whatever the f*ck he wants.
The legacy media always tries to understand Trump's stubborn fixations by normalizing him and asking: "What's he thinking?"
Allow me: Trump doesn't think; he feels. He craves.
And he likes how tariffs make him feel, because he can be a bully, impose his will, make and remove threats, and cause countries to do his bidding and pay him tribute arbitrarily. THEY FUEL HIS GRANDIOSITY.
How much more American consumers, businesses, and importers pay, is immaterial. None of that matters to Trump. People don't matter. America doesn't matter.
Bullying, imposing his will, being the center of attention, and threatening others, is the essence of what a malignant narcissist does.
It's like America didn't even elect a person.
It elected a pathology.
The same party who shits their pants about mythical dead people voting or receiving social security benefits is pretending a dead man is alive to avoid losing a Senate seat. Hypocrisy, thy name is GOP.
This is Trumps plan. Take away Medicaid, Social Security, Medicare, healthcare, a little at a time. Take away free school lunches & raise taxes to siphon the money to his billionaire donors. You won’t notice, everything is fine. You won’t notice!
WOW! GOP ELECTION CRIME ALERT: James Saunders, a Shaker Heights Republican lawyer and Trump donor, was sentenced to 3 years plus $10K for illegally voting in '20 and '22.
The judge slammed him: "Crime against every citizen's right to ONE vote—one voice." The "voter fraud" party is literally committing voter fraud.
Every accusation is a confession with these people.
Another mysterious Epstein-related death: French model recruiter Daniel Siad, whose name appears more than 2,000 times in the released Epstein files, was found dead at his home near Paris.
Siad arranged meetings between Jeffrey Epstein and young women for years and is also part of an ongoing criminal investigation in France into Epstein’s ties to the modeling industry. One Epstein victim described Siad as “essentially a professional trafficker.”
Authorities say an autopsy will determine the cause of death.
Trump: ‘We’re gonna stop Iran from having a nuclear weapon, but we’re gonna make it easier for the guys who brought you 9/11 & murdered an American journalist to get one because MBS pays my son-in-law a fortune. Also, Orb Dance. Thank you for your attention in this matter!.’
Russ Clark, a retired U.S. Marine Corps infantry commander who served in Vietnam and holds a graduate degree in mental health counseling, issued a scathing assessment of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, stating that his ten-year acquaintance with Hegseth allowed him to diagnose the defense secretary as "an arrogant, inebriated, misogynistic, cruel, sadistic, adolescent psychopath" who is now "controlling the strongest military in world history like he's playing a video game".
Clark's post on Threads (March 2026), carries particular weight given his credentials as both a combat veteran and retired United Methodist minister who now serves as a chaplain to veterans.
