@akaRCN No way. Last year we got a whole bunch walk and we were worse for it. I understand they all want some sort of phrase but some of them are worth keeping especially Murphy. Also love Kappy
@lllljgllll_@emilymkaplan@rodjob21 I don't think that people understand that even if someone is cleared of something hart being an example, there is always huge backlash and it never looks good. They just need to stay away from Babcock, super frustrated
@frank_seravalli@Buccigross@victoryplustv There's no dynasty going on here they had a fairly easy path in the east and the Avalanche and Oilers had their best players injured even Coach Brindamour admitted being healthy was the biggest factor in winning.
@KevinMcCurdy The question is who can we now find to replace him that's going to cost 2 to 3 million less and play better than he did given the fact that current salaries are going up due to the increase in cap? Won't be as easy as people think
@KevinMcCurdy Does Franks quote mean Oilers "were about to" Hire Babcock, or just the process of looking into hiring him is delayed until after. Very important distinction but not clear to me.
@dstaples Agreed but would still prefer Cassidy over Babcock. One would hope Oilers assumed all scenarios including Vegas being assholes before firing Knobs
@JackieBee_16@oilerslive Also please use Lyme vaccine and /or flea tick prevention spring to fall. There are many excellent products available (I manage a Vet clinic and have been in Vet medicine since 2003)
@Menzies_4@OilersNation There is a huge argument to be made that it has been much more of a distraction for Vegas with the current stance they have, than it would have been if they simply had said" You have permission to be interviewed" and then went on with their business
@dstaples@edmontonjournal But as per Cassidy, Vegas can block him all the way until end of next year. Even if he resigns- there's a no compete clause. It was on spitting chiclets few days ago
