His view: therapies that prevent disease, with almost no symptoms to manage, fit a direct channel.

Investors want to know if any of Lilly’s other franchises could ever rival its obesity business.

When I asked Dave, he pointed to neuroscience. Brain health has “the most upside potential” and “probably has the best chance of competing with our cardiometabolic franchise.”

This year @EliLillyandCo has already moved with the acquisitions of Centessa ($6.3B + CVR) and AtaiBeckley ($2.8B + CVR).

Lilly’s next-generation triple for obesity is emerging.

There is a lot of excitement around retatrutide, Lilly’s first triple acting medicine, which could launch in late 2027. (My friends are already taking the compounded version. Please just wait for the real thing!)

On the @inSpiredPodX podcast, @EliLillyandCo CEO Dave Ricks also highlighted the combination of eloralintide plus low-dose tirzepatide (EloraTZP). Well, we’re finally about to see the first Phase 2 data for that combination in a few weeks at EASD.
