1/ Here is an overview of one of the better executed scams I have seen in recent times so I figured I would share with the community as a cautionary tale.

A few weeks ago I received a DM from a follower who lost $245K after accidentally downloading malware onto their computer.

I have zero personal experience on MEXC but some red flags:

• No KYC abuse - if you slip, they keep your funds

• You make significant money - funds clawed back and frozen for “review”

• Every person who’s reached out to get me to use MEXC is a new customer support account with zero Twitter history (no longevity in team)

• Overwhelmingly negative experiences among friends who’ve used the exchange (unresponsive, illiquid, and always a risk of ruin bc they’ll steal from you)

Take your funds on-chain if you can’t use any other CEX.

MEXC is a sorry excuse of an exchange.

Rule of thumb:

When you start taking screenshots of your crypto gains, it's time to take profits.

Have I taken profits too early before & regretted it? Sure. But the pain of taking profits too early < the pain of taking profits too late.

Do NOT voluntarily tell your wife or girlfriend how much money you have made recently.

I would be weary of any projects you see working with the market maker @gotbit_io as a leaked report shows highly questionable services offered.

Gotbit claims:

“During the first minutes in the price discovery stage we are going to push the price up to 10x to create FOMO and accumulate as much buying power as we can to reach extreme Xs and sell maximum tokens on the subsequent spike”
