Many operators applied for the .bit TLD. Do they know about @Namecoin?

Namecoin’s .bit was the first alt DNS layer TLD, way before .eth

Namecoin was the second crypto ever made, the first BTC alt!

No one applied for .eth, so why is .eth “protected”, but not .bit? Interesting!

How difficult is it to onboard a new ccTLD registry/program? I bet this is a very unique experience per registry…

Is there a goal to eventually offer most or all (functioning) ccTLDs? I’m still hoping to see .et and .bo on Dynadot one day 😅
