Someone asked what the things I've worked on had in common. I could do them alone, or nearly so, instead of needing the permission of bureaucrats. They could be done incrementally, and thus evolve. And they were out of fashion, and thus free of hype and opportunists.
Educate yourself about things. Study hard what interests you the most. Don't worry about what others think of you, that's none of your business. Train your mind to think, doubt, and question. That's how you grow. ๐ง
A person's potential for success is likely proportional to:
- Their willingness to embarrass themselves in front of others
- Their ability to have difficult conversations
- Their understanding of their own limitations
Even though our society doesnโt emphasize it, the most crucial use of knowledge and education is to understand the importance of more wholesome action and disciplining the mindโessentially the development of a good heart.
