@KobeissiLetter Is there no solution similar to the U.K. where you can port a mortgage from your existing property to the one you are buying, keeping the same rate (as long as you are not borrowing more) this surely creates more movement in the market?

@chamath Why does the US mortgage system not allow for mortgages to be ported to other properties, similar to the UK? Allows for people to move their existing rate over to a new property if borrowing amounts remain constant.
