@oghofer This is so true for me too!! I had my baby at home unmedicated, I immediately told my husband Ive had periods much worse than the whole birth experience! Ive had times were i was screaming in pain for days on a period, but my birth was 4.5 hrs and super chill, didnt even cry once

@afoidinlove Yesss lol?! I just had my first at 26. I hear “Wow!! You’re so young!!” allll the time.. im really not that young but okay 😂
to be fair, i had a few coworkers just now having their 1st babies at 40~.. both my parents and in-laws had me + husband at 30-36, and my husband is 36

My baby has started recognizing my husband lately and she smiles so much when he holds her and talks to her! It’s really so so amazing and adorable

@muheediva01 Oh exactly! My poor husband has an eccentric way of spelling his decently common name.. let’s just say even at 36, his close relatives can’t even be bothered to spell it correctly.. same with his sister lol.. 🥲 he was very particular about our baby name because of his struggles!

Our 1st baby is 2mo now.. is it the worst thing to get pregnant again rn??.. nooo, but should I?? Probably not?? Can I? Probably not?? Might it happen?? Idk..😬 husband has to stop being so sexy..

@Elliesmommyy23 Haha exactly!! Even my own mom makes every excuse and calls my baby her baby..? 🥲 I try not to take it too seriously but errrmmm.. I know she loves her but I BIRTHED her???? Whenever baby is fussy it’s always something else, not that baby just might want mama!! 🤪

@sunfwrpwr Yessss, I was so anxious for my girls first whole week of life because she was a side sleeper from day 1 lol!!!! No matter how many times I put her on her back she’d manage to get herself sideways... Now I’ve heard there are pillows that help with that, but she wound up fine 😅

@infinitysprite @holyhomemaking Yesss same! I was in the tub just under an hour before my baby was born and the instant relief from the water was amazing!!
although I got too overheated right before pushing and we literally dumped pots full of ice into my tub to cool me down 😂

@holyhomemaking I used warm hydrotherapy in the bath/shower at the start of active labor but the hour leading up to baby’s birth I hopped in the tub and actually overheated after a little while ?! so we literally dumped ice water into the tub right before I started pushing lol

@afoidinlove the contact naps in the newborn stage.. ❤️🥺 my baby is just turning 7 weeks and she’s started actually smiling recently too and that’s been the best feeling ever.. love seeing her grow, but I miss her being a brand new fresh baby so badly..

@_samantha_joy @donswriting Oh noo.. 😭❤️ I’ve be been crying a lot tonight about my baby turning 7 weeks tomorrow.. she was so incredibly small just weeks ago....ugh..messes me up!! I want my girls teeny tiny newborn baby stage back..but also she’s begun smiling and that’s also been the best! 🥺❤️

Baby fought naps all day, finally knocked out cold at 11:30pm.. husband and I had a few drinks and enjoyed quite a few needed hours together ❤️ came back to baby at 2am.. successfully transferred her into our bed!! She’s still deep asleep.. feeling very blessed 😩❤️

I love being a stay at home mom and I literally can’t believe my husband has made my all dreams and requests come true.. and continues to do so!! 😍 forever indebted to him for taking such good care of me and baby ❤️
