So I have been doing & learning some household chores which I hadn't done before.

One of those things include doing dishes. I have been doing dishes since past 2 weeks I guess.

I want to do a public service announcement for people who are desperate to come to Europe. I have seen many, many desperate Indian students doing 12 hours of delivery/ restaurant / gig work, extremely underpaid and abused in Berlin and this really bothers me.

Please don’t take out huge loans and go
into debt to get admitted to third rate private universities here. You will face extreme hardship, both mental and financial, for little to no reward.

There many universities in Germany which are essentially visa mills. They sell you a dream- that if you manage to somehow get to Europe, you will be financially sorted for life and there will be an abundance of job offers for you to pick and choose from, once you graduate.

These universities are very scammy, have a low barrier to entry (you can more or less buy a seat), and extremely low teaching standards. Students who come here are forced to take up underpaid and often illegal gig work to survive and they are easy targets for shady companies.

And then they realize that their university degree is pretty much worthless. Both in Germany and in India.

If you do want to come to Germany, apply
to the state run universities here. These are usually cheap but very competitive and have usually quite high standards.

Please don’t take out a 30 lakh loan, or sell family land to fall for a scam. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is not true.

Also the Indians on X who are relentlessly advising young people to get out of the country by hook or by crook, should perhaps exercise some caution knowing that there are impressionable young people out there who might do stupid things.

🚨India Hits Back as Bangladesh Deploys 60,000 Border Guards as India Intensifies Crackdown on Illegal Infiltration

What began as a series of localized border incidents has now escalated into the largest border deployment in Bangladesh's history.

According to reports from Bangladeshi media, nearly 60,000 personnel of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed across the country's border districts. The scale of the deployment is remarkable given that the BGB's total active strength is estimated at around 70,000 personnel, meaning a vast majority of the force has been concentrated along the frontier.

The move comes amid growing tensions over India's efforts to identify and repatriate illegal migrants who have entered the country from Bangladesh.

In recent weeks, India's Border Security Force (BSF) has intensified operations against illegal immigration. Several groups of individuals identified as Bangladeshi nationals were reportedly brought to border points in West Bengal after admitting they had entered India through unauthorized routes.

One of the most notable incidents occurred near the border districts of Cooch Behar and Jalpaiguri, where dozens of suspected illegal migrants were taken to designated border locations for repatriation. Similar actions were reported in the Murshidabad sector, where individuals identified as Bangladeshi nationals were eventually accepted after verification procedures.

These incidents triggered a strong reaction in Bangladesh.

Bangladeshi media outlets have portrayed the developments as attempts by India to "push" people across the border, while local reports claim that BGB personnel have been deployed to prevent such movements. Some reports have even highlighted support from local residents living in border areas, presenting the deployment as a national effort to counter what they describe as cross-border pressure.

Regardless of the competing narratives, the numbers tell their own story. Bangladesh has never before deployed such a large proportion of its border force along the Indian frontier. The decision reflects growing concern within Dhaka over the possibility of more aggressive repatriation efforts by India.

For India, however, the position remains clear.

India has repeatedly stated that it is strengthening action against illegal immigration across the country and that verified foreign nationals will be returned through established border channels. The government has also accelerated border fencing projects, expanded surveillance measures, and increased verification drives in several states.

Indian officials argue that repatriation has often been delayed because verification requests sent to Bangladeshi authorities remain pending for long periods. According to this position, the challenge is not identifying illegal migrants but securing timely cooperation for their return.

Against this backdrop, the massive BGB deployment appears less like a routine border measure and more like a response to India's increasingly assertive enforcement strategy.

The coming weeks will reveal whether the heightened military-style presence on both sides leads to greater coordination, or deeper tensions, along one of South Asia's most sensitive borders.

- A young Parsi woman studying in a college in Gujarat married a muslim professor who was 15 years older than her despite opposition from her family many years ago.

- The Parsi woman did not convert to Islam after the marriage and continued to practice her original faith. Fast forward to present time, she was 55 years old and died after brief illness.

- When her muslim husband went to members of Parsi Community and asked them to perform her final rites as per Zoroastrian traditions, they refused because of inter faith marriage.

- When the husband approached the members of his own muslim community to bury his wife as per Islam, they also refused.

- Her husband approached Vishwa Hindu Parishad and they did funeral of this woman as per Hindu rites who was neither Hindu by birth nor Hindu by marriage. They did not think twice and only felt proud of what they were doing.
