I give it up to Bret Baier. Credit where credit is due. He came prepared, asked the right questions, pinned him down, didnât let him wiggle away & deflect. That was how to interview Trump. The other right-wing shills who interview him should watch and be ashamed for being hacks.
Trump just does not know when to keep his mouth shut.
In a new interview with Bret Baier on Fox, Trump says the National Archives should have begged him for the documents back: "The only way NARA could ever get this stuff, this back, would be 'please, please, please could we get them back.'"
NARA *did* ask Trump for the documents and then subpoenaed him when he refused. Even then, Trump lied about fully complying with the subpoena and instructed his aide, Walt Nauta, to move the boxes to a different location.
Trump gives a incredibly weak excuse that he was "very busy" and "wanted to go through the boxes and get all of [his] personal things out" before turning them over.
BREAKING: In Trumpâs first sit-down interview with FOX News since he got indicted, FOX host Bret Baier brutally calls out Trump on his indictment lies and repeatedly fact checks him in real time live on the air, leaving Trump flustered.
The confrontation started when Trump declared that the top secret documents were his â and that the âonly wayâ that National Archives could have gotten the documents back to should have been to ask nicely, âPlease, please, please, could we have them back?â
FOX Host Baier immediately cut him off, telling Trump, âThey DID ask for them.â
Flummoxed, Trump responded, âBecause they have no â we were talking.â
Luckily, Bauer didnât let Trump get away with such a dumb response, because he again pressed Trump in front of millions of FOX viewers, telling him, âThe National Archives went to the Department of Justice and got a subpoena to get the documents!â
Trumpâs response is one for the ages, exclaiming, âWhich they have never done before!â
Bauer responded, âThatâs right!
Bauer continued, asking Trump, âWhy didnât you just hand them over then?
ďżź
Trump responded, âBecause I had boxes, I want to go through the boxes and get all of my personal things out. I donât want to hand that over to the national archives yet, and I was very busy as youâve sort of seen.
Thankfully, FOX News host Bauer didnât let Trump get away with that one, setting Trump straight by responding, âYeah, but according to the indictment, you then tell this aide to move the documents to other locations after telling your lawyers to say youâd fully complied with the subpoena when you hadnât.â
Masterfully done, Bret Baier.
Please RT and â¤ď¸ to thank Bret Baier for setting Trump straight in front of millions of FOX viewers â and consider investing in Tribel, a âwokeâ new Twitter competitor that is currently doing a round of equity crowdfunding and just blew past $1.6 million raised from 4,000 of its users. If you want to own a small piece of what is quickly becoming the ânext big thingâ in social media, here is the link to do so, https://t.co/7S6ULL2pfG. You can invest as little as $100 â or as much as youâd like. Hereâs the link to download the new Tribel app that Elon Musk is so afraid of: https://t.co/HnJzSKj4Hp
Oof! 2.5 miles underwater, is a long, long way down.
Just watching this story about the lost submersible under the sea, is giving me claustrophobia and palpitations.
We'll begin with yet another weekend of mass shootings in America... this time from Illinois to St. Louis and Washington State. The St. Louis mayor joins us for a live interview. See you at the top of the hour.

GOP claims that Dems are obsessed w/identity politics is 100% projection.
Hey Republicans, Donald Trump wasn't indicted by President Biden, AG Merrick Garland, or Barack Hussein Obama. He was indicted by a grand jury in Florida. The Presidential Records Act doesn't allow him to keep top-secret documents that don't belong to him.
It's an uphill battle recovering from a stroke, and Republicans think it's hilarious to mock that.
I don't.
I'll take the humility and decency of Senator John Fetterman recovering from a stroke over the vulgar criminality and lack of empathy of trump any day.
I stand with Senator Fetterman.
He's better than all of the heartless Republicans on this site combined.
Donald Trump, Republicans, and propaganda channel Fox News, are attacking Special Counsel Jack Smith because their frontrunner stole top-secret documents and jeopardized our national security. 46 Presidents have been indicted on a total of 71 felony counts:
1-44: 0 45: 71 46: 0
Donald Trump supporters, âThis is not an indictment that you can dismiss. There are a lot of people who are testifying under oath, and they're saying highly incriminating things,â Jonathan Turley tells Fox News.
