It has been an honor to work with Chelsea Elliot over the years on the swiftScreen mobile app.
Happy to see the news focusing on her great mission:

Congrats to the @kotlin team getting KMP to Stable!
What really drew us to KMP is how well it handles complex projects with lots of devs. These are the hardest projects to work on and manage.
If your team has lots of devs working on a complex app you should give KMP a look!
🚀Kotlin Multiplatform is Stable in Kotlin 1.9.20 and production-ready!

What is everyone using for the UI for your Android codebase?
We have moved to Jetpack Compose for all new projects, but still have several codebases with lots of XML!

Love seeing this dev community building here in NYC!
We will have some different formats coming up to include some remote attendees. But don't worry our park hangs are going to last as long as winter allows.

Milo Mobile will be hosting the NYC Android Dev Hangout this Wednesday @ 6pm in Bryant Park!

A man that simply wants to talk about records, oh and uniting Android and Web with Kotlin Multiplatform.
Thanks @kanawish for the dangerous info about ditching viewmodels!
We are happy to have our final talk include Kotlin Multiplatform.

Let's get contextual...
The elite Android devs over at @AmericanExpress are really digging deep into the technical details.
Context Receivers are coming soon and we are ready to see them start popping up in ALL the libraries.
Thanks @brent_watson#dcnyc23#AndroidDev#kotlin
Some of our devs saw a RxJava talk by @RunChristinaRun way back at Android BBQ (RIP).
Now we get to see her insights on implementing an entirely new architecture at an org as big as @Pinterest
Inspiring to see how much thought goes into these decisions.

Mvrx -> Mavericks -> Trio
Our team has leaned on the Mavericks architecture from @AirbnbEng for app architecture on some pretty intense apps.
Trio looks like a great successor and we love that it is Compose first.
Thanks to Eli Hart and Yvonne Wong!

Material You Rule #1:
If you ever got a photo with Matias Duarte, include it in your presentation.
@mikewolfson took us on a wonderful stroll down Android design memory lane.
Holo live will live forever.

Mobile development is full of tough complex problems, but that's why we love it.
As promised more kotlin multiplatform. Thanks to @RussHWolf for the great talk and to the entire @TouchlabHQ team for leading the Kotlin multiplatform charge.

Backkkkk to the basics.
@yogurtearl broke down an incredible level of detail about JDKs and SDKs we all use everyday as Android devs.
Really useful information when you get those mysterious build failures for missing classes.

We even went to a security talk. Sometimes it's the fundamentals that are important.
Interesting mobile security products coming from the @Promon_Shield team. Definitely can see some strong use cases for our clients.
We promised @kotlin multiplatform and just finished the first session. @hlnstep broke down the learning path for KMP. Taught us using art and memes, aka the best way.

Excited to be here at @droidconNYC! Great opening talk by @AdamMc331 about the amazing Android community. Makes us want to get back to the Meetup life.
Time for some kotlin multiplatform, kotlin multiplatform, and more kotlin multiplatform
