Six months ago, on January 8th and 9th, Iran’s brutal regime massacred thousands of innocent protesters demanding freedom. We will never forget their sacrifice, and we will never forgive. The fight for a free Iran continues.

Twelve young Iranians were arrested during the January 2026 protests in Isfahan.
Yesterday, Erfan Esfandiari, 18, and Gol-Mohammad Mohammadi, 23, an Afghan national, were executed. Now, ten more remain at risk. They should never face death for exercising their right to protest.
The world cannot look away. Every moment of silence brings them closer to an irreversible injustice.

Just last month, together with UN experts, I cautiously welcomed the US–Iran memorandum of understanding, but warned that the Iranian people were barely visible in its framework. https://t.co/Mdm1JM02SZ
This week’s resumption of hostilities between the United States and Iran, and the wider regional escalation, is deeply alarming. I have continued to maintain that the US strikes on Iran are unlawful. That they now come after the signing of the memorandum makes them all the more unsettling: agreements are cast aside and force takes the place of diplomacy. The foundation of any lasting peace — respect for agreements and for international law — is undermined.
Reports indicate US strikes affecting civilian infrastructure, including multiple ports in southern Iran, causing power outages in parts of Chabahar, projectiles landing near the Bushehr nuclear power plant, and damage to railway lines, including the Agh Tekkeh Khan railway bridge. According to Iran's health ministry, 14 people have been killed over the past two nights.
My thoughts are with the people of Iran, who once again find themselves caught between renewed US strikes and their government’s internal repression. Since the war began in late February, external aggression has killed thousands and displaced millions, while the Iranian authorities have continued to execute its people amid an intensifying crackdown on dissent. The people of Iran have already endured years of insecurity and economic hardship. This new round of strikes deepens that suffering.
I urge all parties to de-escalate and return to negotiations — and to finally put the Iranian people at the centre. The protection of civilian lives and civilian infrastructure must be an immediate priority, and every effort should be made to prevent further escalation.
Urgent Warning: Imminent Executions in Isfahan
Erfan Esfandari (18) and Gol-Mohammad Mohammadi (23) were executed today in connection with the “Alikhani Square” case, tied to the January 2026 Lion and Sun National Revolution in Isfahan.
Reports indicate that 12 political prisoners—10 linked to the same uprising—have been moved from Dastgerd Prison to solitary confinement, raising serious fears of imminent execution. Among those at risk are:
Alireza Sepahi, Abolfazl Sepahi, Ghaem Hosseini, Shervin Bagherian, Amirhossein Safari, Amirhossein Maleki, Ali Dashti, Abolfazl Ebrahimi, Alireza Raeisi, and Amirhossein Ebrahimi Analoucheh.
We urgently call on the international community, governments, and human rights organizations to act immediately using all available means to prevent these executions and hold the Islamic Republic accountable.
We also urge people worldwide to amplify these voices and help save their lives. The use of the death penalty for political repression is a grave violation of human rights. Those responsible must know they will be held accountable.
The Iranian people continue to seek freedom, justice, and dignity—and their future belongs to them.

Warning of the Imminent Execution of 12 Political Prisoners and Lion and Sun National Revolution Detainees in Isfahan.”
Erfan Esfandari, 18, and Gol-Mohammad Mohammadi, 23, an Afghan national, were executed today.
Both had been sentenced to death in connection with the “Alikhani Square” case in Isfahan and were among those arrested during the January 2026 Lion and Sun National Revolution.
In recent days, reports had emerged that those convicted in this case had been transferred to solitary confinement, raising grave concerns that their executions were imminent.
The reports that 12 political prisoners, including 10 people detained in connection with the January uprising, known as the Lion and Sun National Revolution, have been transferred from the general ward of Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan to solitary confinement, amid credible fears that they may soon be executed, are deeply alarming.
These developments suggest that the criminal regime of the Islamic Republic may once again be preparing to commit a grave and irreversible crime against the people of Iran.
According to available information,
Alireza Sepahi,
Abolfazl Sepahi,
Ghaem Hosseini,
Shervin Bagherian,
Amirhossein Safari,
Amirhossein Maleki,
Ali Dashti,
Abolfazl Ebrahimi,
Alireza Raeisi,
and Amirhossein Ebrahimi Analoucheh,
who were arrested in connection with the Lion and Sun National Revolution in Isfahan, are at imminent risk of execution.
We call on the international community, democratic governments, and human rights organizations to act with the utmost urgency and to use every available legal, diplomatic, and political means to prevent these irreversible acts of injustice.
The Islamic Republic must be held fully accountable for any harm inflicted on these political prisoners.
We also call on Iranians, human rights defenders, civil society leaders, political figures, and people of conscience around the world to amplify the voices of these prisoners and do everything within their power to help save their lives.
The use of the death penalty as an instrument of political repression is a flagrant violation of the most fundamental principles of human rights and justice.
Those who order or carry out unlawful executions should be under no illusion that impunity will last forever.
In a free and democratic Iran governed by the rule of law, those responsible will be held individually accountable before an independent judiciary, in accordance with due process.
The Islamic Republic’s reliance on executions to spread fear and silence freedom-seeking Iranians is not a sign of strength. It is evidence of a regime that has lost its legitimacy and now depends on terror for its survival.
The people of Iran have repeatedly demonstrated that they reject tyranny and aspire to a future founded on liberty, justice, and national dignity.
That future belongs to the Iranian nation.
A free Iran will be built on the rule of law, respect for human rights, and the equal rights and inherent dignity of every citizen.

@iranidaturan Time will tell which strategy succeeds, but one thing is certain: the Iranian people's desire for freedom cannot be negotiated away. #JavidShah🇮🇷
Don’t be so afraid of negotiations. This is a tactical pause. By now you should have realized that Trump’s strategy is to erode and hollow out the regime from within, so that when the final kick comes from the Iranians themselves, there will be less resistance and less fallout.
These pauses between strikes and this controlled pressure are extremely effective in accelerating that erosion. At the same time, they prevent the regime from going full suicidal. The internal cracks become visible, and most importantly, the regime is brutally humiliated in front of its own base.
Since they’re losing ground, they’ve been flooding their supporters with empty words and illusions in recent months, selling them a fantasy of power. But when they’re finally forced to face reality and sit at the negotiating table to practically surrender, those delusions turn to dust. That’s when they lose the support of their own hardliners, and this collapse of credibility is very important.
These periods of buying time are necessary to settle the fate of the Houthis (the regime’s last active proxy) and to put the final piece in place: Saudi Arabia cutting its support for the regime and joining the Abraham Accords. Saudi has been playing its usual games, but once that happens, everything will be set.
Only then will Israel deliver the final blow (eliminating the remaining figures), leaving the regime so weakened that the Iranians can return to the streets and finish the revolution they started in January.
You just have to be patient and strong.

🆘 Two Iranian cousins, #AbolfazlSepahi and #AlirezaSepahi, are at imminent risk of execution in the #AliKhaniSquare case in Isfahan.
Their families had a “final visit” with them on Saturday night; such final visits usually take place right before executions.
In this case, 14 protesters were initially sentenced to death; after recent executions, 12 people still remain on death row.
These are clear signs that the executions may be very close. Now is the time to raise your voice and act.
