Wyndham talks through the 275-yard 3-wood.
Turns out the yardage was actually the "perfect 5-wood," which Wyndham didn't put in the bag this week.
Here's how he geared down. Cool insight ⬇️

This afternoon’s subsurface greens temperature is dangerously high. This over a 10 day period is unhealthy. Our roots are holding strong at the moment but carbohydrate use overload is ramping up. The @USGAGrnSection moisture meter is a nice tool.

I didn’t even know this industry existed until I was around 25 years old. No one ever told me that turfgrass management could be a career—let alone one that could take you to places like Duke University. I used to think it was “just mowing grass,” but there’s so much more to it: irrigation, chemical applications, equipment mechanics, leadership, and more. It’s hands-on, challenging, and full of opportunity—and if you start young, the sky’s the limit.
If you’re a student wondering what’s next after high school, come check it out. This could be your path—you just haven’t seen it yet.
Great to receive the @USGAGrnSection deacon Moisture Meter and try it out on the course today. Looking at the weather it’s just in time to help us in the lead up to @TheOpen Final Qualifying. Got to say it’s so simple to use!
Another step forward again today with the latest in @USGA technology. Looking forward to utilising the moisture meter across all our courses @TrumpTurnberry
Our @USGAGrnSection moisture meter arrived today. We continue to get better as we add different data points to our agronomy thought process. The salinity component is big for someone who deals with poor water quality as the rains begin to dry up.
The new USGA Moisture Meter has started shipping to customers! @BpAgronomy takes a look at what's inside the box 👇

Our @USGAGrnSection GS3 ball is paying large dividends this spring. With only 1 mowing in 15 days when normally we would have mowed at least 5 times while producing this type of product is mind blowing. Having a visual allows us to allocate the labor to better bunkers. Progress!
