I'm sure people who lost their homes would be dying to sit in traffic to come home to a safe, intact residence. Or to have to wait a few HOURS longer...geesh. Animals have better instincts than us about handling this kind of crisis. Why teach a wild animals to rely on your yard as a water source, when they are more than capable of finding their own?

@Malagraves @KRice7 @SantaCruzSO1 5 people arrested for looting so uhhh yeah, sounds like it's a potential problem. There are areas that are evacuated but not under immediate threat, and people will take advantage of that, especially in an area like Scott's Valley where plenty of people are middle class and up.

@ass_dorsey @jsalsman @thatt3slaguy @CALFIRECZU Trust me, I have a lot of feelings about prisoners being paid $1 an hour (!!!) to fight fires...but in this moment, with homes and lives being at risk not just in Santa Cruz county but all over California, I sure wish we were able to use every single resource we possibly could.
