One reason I'm so bullish on Rocket Lab: they don't have to win every prime contract to generate revenue.

CEO Peter Beck explains:

"We are a large component supplier. So we can go head to head with a traditional space prime and then lose. And then the next day, there's a purchase order for reaction wheels and star trackers and solar panels and a whole bunch of spacecraft."

$RKLB a PSA for folks who are losing their shit and peeing their pants - Rocket Lab has gone through a massive drop from its high, but importantly the price has dropped massively on relatively small volume 😏

If you:

1) don’t understand what you own on a deep fundamental basis, and what it can become in the future
2) play with too many options
3) have a short term time horizon

the market will eventually find a way to transfer your shares and future livelihood into the hands of investment banks, hedge funds, and other large financial institutions on a silver platter.

Always focus on the company’s fundamentals if you want to be an elite operator - price will always be volatile for a company like Rocket Lab, you must accept that - if you can’t handle the swings emotionally, you will never make it.

The fundamentals based reality?

Rocket Lab is bordering on unstoppable after the Iridium acquisition.

Mission success for VICTUS HAZE! 🚀🎯

We’ve officially completed the @usspaceforce @ussf_ssc primary mission which saw Rocket Lab build a high performance spacecraft, deliver rapid call-up launch on Electron, and conduct complex on-orbit rendezvous and proximity operations - all ahead of schedule.

⏱️ Launch: Lifted off with just 16h 42m notice - the fastest response ever for a TacRS mission (beating previous record by 10 hours).

🛰️ Commissioning: Activated our Pioneer spacecraft in 38 hours (30 hours ahead of deadline).

📸 RPO Operations: Tracked, approached, and photographed the target satellite in under 59 hours (25 hours ahead of deadline).

Rocket Lab bought Virgin Orbit's facility, valued at around $100M, for a bargain price of just $16.1 million.

Rocket Lab also acquired Mynaric for around $150M, picking up more than $300M of sunk R&D and world class manufacturing for roughly 50 cents on the dollar.

I know Iridium is a completely different ballpark and a much larger acquisition, but I have little doubt that, a few years from now, we'll look back and realise it was a steal too.
