@AlmostMedia Just went through this. I really like the graphs in the withings app, so I sucked it up and went to the newer withings Body Smart for ~$100. Tried the Wyze ones first, but they just weren't syncing reliably with all the other apps.

@Eden_Eats Yes! More exhausting than embarrassing for me. Although I don't want to "keep score", at some point I feel like if there isn't some amount of reciprocity, it's not really a friendship? Ofc then there's how much grace do you give for kids etc. So yeah, exhausting.

@DirtyTesLa HW3 owner - something like that's what it would take for me to pay for something that hasn't meaningfully changed since the free demo period a couple of years ago. That wasn't good enough to get me to subscribe then, so if they want revenue it needs to be lower cost.

@ilex_ulmus Also, if you can see a gastroenterologist without a referral/$$$$ on your insurance plan, they might be up for scoping early than guidelines given your strong family history. And if they say no, try again w/ another practice if it only costs you a co-pay.

@ilex_ulmus ugh. Early-onset, early-stage CRC person here w/lots of scope exp. I think the recs say 40 for you - 1st deg rel >60 when dx. But you're 100% right to go earlier. Now [cough cough], if you had any GI distress/blood in your stool, they'd give you that scope.

@stevesi Yep. Tried to ride to the airport from Shoreline the other morning. After standing on an open-door / delayed train for 10 minutes, and not looking forward to the announced mid-ride shuttle bus due to a switch issue, bailed for an uber.

@Scobleizer @elonmusk I'm also excited for this car, but a catshot is 0-160+ in ~2 seconds. The first 60mph happens in WELL under a second. Still one of my goals/dreams to get shot off one. Thrilled that you got to experience it!

@AmandaMGoetz Cosigned. I was a small kid and never got "picked". When in 2nd or 3rd grade, the only baseball teams were were try-out. I predictably didn't make it despite being pretty good. It killed my enthusiasm for team sports for a long time. I turned out OK, but think about it a lot.

@AshleyGWinter You missed out. You can just hop on the nearest trash bag in the Passaic River and float on down to "the beach". Way cheaper than the tolls to Seaside or Wildwood. (grew up in NJ ; RU alum ; didn't spend much time in Newark)
