@superradleesha @AeornFlippout A lot of people (including Wirecutter) like Toto Washlet, but it’s not my favorite.
I loved the Bio Bidet BB2000, but moved to an apartment with a standard toilet (rather than elongated) which narrows your options.
My current is a SmartBidet SB-1000 and I like it pretty well.
A dumb conspiracy theory on the 13m missing votes:
There was an effort by dems to lower turnout in non-swing states so that Kamala would win the EC and lose the popular vote, raising support for EC abolition among republicans. They didn’t anticipate her losing PA, MI, and WI.
@mattyglesias We don’t need to *be* less left wing. We need to be *perceived* as less left wing. A lot of left wing policy ideas are really popular when they’re not attached to left wing politicians.
@DannyHeinz57@SwannMarcus89 I’m with you on this. There’s no path to significantly reducing emissions that doesn’t involve average people making moderate to large lifestyle changes. It’s just a question of whether it will be voluntary or forced on us by circumstances.
Does anyone else agree 3 restaurant beers is NOT the same as 3 home beers. Restaurant beers get you more drunk for some reason. Need some opinions on this fellas.
@curtbianchi @guesswhat967 @TheViewFromLL2 They won’t switch to abandoning the EC. They’ll switch to EC “reform”. It will probably mean giving each congressional district 1 vote, effectively gerrymandering the presidency.
This isn’t exactly fair to California. Every state in the US uses too much plastic. It was just extra noticeable juxtaposed against the (marginally) decreased straw use.
