The most unfairly bashed finale of all time. Most people actually still think they were dead the whole time. Meanwhile, everyone pretends that the ending to the Sopranos was great even though we all thought our power went out at the end.
Michael Heiser made it cool for Christians to talk as if the Bible teaches many gods exist. I don't claim to know exactly what Heiser himself believed. But many of his followers cheerfully affirm polytheism and don't seem to realize it. Blog post dropped 👇
@malachiobrien You feel free to rebuke what you perceive to be a work of the flesh. Would you consider clergy sexual abuse a work of the flesh? What about lying and prophetic manipulation? What about unrepentant adultery? What about selling the Holy Spirit? Are you willing to rebuke that?
This was a really fun discussion with @_jeremiahj.
A few months ago, I was a HARD NO on the Shroud of Turin. I have to admit there are multiple things that are really hard to explain outside of a *possibility* it’s real.
(Also: my faith in the resurrection depends this 0%)
Christ with me,
Christ before me,
Christ behind me,
Christ in me,
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ on my right,
Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down,
Christ when I sit down,
Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who
thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who
speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.
