This week we practiced our 5 basic guitar chords: C, A, G, D, and E. Now that we have our basic tools we can play some simple songs for next week! My learner has been developing her guitar calluses too. She's becoming a stronger guitar player 💪

This week my learner and I went over the parts of a guitar!
I used confirmatory paraphrasing to understand what she was feeling about starting guitar lessons. It’s a great way to keep the lessons student-centred. #letsteachadults @YEPeducation

For our first session I went over a basic outline of what I think we should cover for this term. After learning the piano I think my mom has gained some more musical confidence. Let’s see how things go! #letsteachadults @YEPeducation
