The Government offer:

3. A set of commitments – agreed with the PM – to measures to reduce teacher workload
@greg_jenner I think the problem is the streaming platform that it is on. I love Ted Lasso but I only got into it after a 6 month free trial with Apple TV, which I’ll be cancelling next week. If it was on Netflix, I’d say this would be a different story.
The latest teachers strike in England is today. 3 mins on what's happened to teachers' pay since 2012. The average teachers' salary has reduced in real terms - and more so than some other professions. Produced by Michael Cox, Rob England, Robert Cuffe. https://t.co/Kg3nSo3agh
Back to school today and reflecting on a successful Berlin trip with the Year 10 and Year 11 historians. It was our first Berlin trip since 2019, so it was good to be back away with them! #historyteacher#Berlin

There’s an excellent video on @BBCBreakfast this morning, about @BartsHospital 900th birthday. It would be great for our GCSE Historians, looking at its development since 1123. I hope that this will be available on the BBC website later… a great revision piece! #historyteacher
So pleased to have been accepted onto the @HolocaustUK teacher study trip to Munich in May. It’s been a few years since I attended a study trip with the organisation, so i’m looking forward to visiting a new city with them!
For those who are confusing the issue, a teacher strike has absolutely nothing to do with how you feel about your SLT. The strike is about frustration, hurt and overwhelming upset over GOVERNMENT failure and a degradation of our profession by them. Not your SLT.
💥After confirming it would be balloting members on strike action @NEUnion has announced the timeline for the next few months:

Dates for potential action likely w/c 30 January 2023 (not confirmed)
Our first battlefields day trip since 2019 took place yesterday. A reminder of how special this trip is and how much the students get from the day. Same again next Friday!
