Attended Viewforth High School today off the back of my talk at the Microsoft event at QAHS to discuss Microbits in more depth with staff. Went through a basic summary with staff of why I use them, staff then had some hands on experience and had a try of the demo’s set up.

8 staff came along to our Microsoft Educator in person introductory session (with a few more planning to join next week). Also got to give out our first actual badge to @MissTaylor_2 along with her #MIEExpert badge too #TeamMIEEScotland

Used @Classroomscreen for my observed lesson today to ensure all instructions were on the board, in the one place for pupils. They said they found this very useful!

Ran a ‘wee’ cpd event after school today on digital escape rooms! Staff enjoyed the session and are ready to try using this tool in their own setting. Had high expectations to live up to after this feedback from the session back in Nov.
