🧵this is a fascinating defense of the Hays Code to me, a person who has thought extensively about how the Hays Code changed the texture of life in America across multiple decades
(preface: I am not in favor of the Hays Code and these ppl are nuts) 1/
@ctrlaltcassie Yeah this happens to me, but not to the extent you describe. Multiple dreams with entirely different settings have featured the exact same small bodega run by the same guy. What's more consistent than location in these dreams is the version of myself that I seem to be.
@HeartMachineZ Handling my quarter life crisis as best I can while working on some big life changes happening next year. Big dreams require small steps and all that.
I know I don't have many followers but to those who see this: please, don't watch the world cup this year. Don't watch highlights, don't look up results, just don't engage. Human rights abuses, deaths during construction, persecution of LGBTQ folks, it sucks. #BoycottQatar2022
@johngreen Given that logistics and family things work out magically, where in the world (apart from where you live now) would you like to live for six months/a year or so?
