@tracker1 The later versions were it seems both only available to paid users, and released after BBSes were already in steep decline, so it's no surprise they're rather obscure!
@tracker1 Naturally most of the Google returns are you looking for them. I see some references in the RIPScrip Art Resurrection FB group ... of course Hawk Hubbard is a literally dead end now but the current proprietor of his BBSes might have a lead. Also I see Kent Stanford was using it!
@tracker1 We've barely seen any movement in the RIPscrip field since reviving in 2014, but if the files are anywhere out there, they'd probably be hiding in the file areas of some telnet BBSes.
The history of early computer art has a problem. The women were there. Vera Molnar. Lillian Schwartz. Joan Truckenbrod.
They wrote the code. They made the work. They built the theory. History just looked the other way.
Time to fix this.

I recently inherited my grandfather's old manual drill press so on the weekend I hooked it up to play Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move. I'll share a gameplay video that contains another twist soon.😉

Tips: Menu controls are arrows and Enter. The instructions are a must. If you find the game too fast for your liking, you can slow it down using Ctrl+F11 (and speed it back up with Ctrl+F12).
Thank you, everyone. This officially concludes regular, active use of this account by the Mistigris computer art collective. It's well past time to move on, so please consider following us as "mistfunk" just about anywhere else. https://t.co/ITaJ3rVZaA
Mistigram: Happy #Easter! This #ANSIart portrait of #JesusChrist, titled Love is Vulnerability, was drawn by @mavenmob, winning 1st place in the @FlashpartyOk 2025 demoparty's extended text art compo. It was also included in the recent unthemed MIST0226 artpack collection.
Mistigram: While we're still in a nonsensical #AprilFools mentality, here's an exceedingly foolish scene of #AliceInWonderland's #MadHatterTeaParty, drawn in #ShiftJIS by kalcha. It was included in the MIST0117 artpack collection released nine years ago!
Mistigram: I expect that this offbeat #teletext screen, like many others, was drawn by @illarterate for inclusion in Rail Slave Games' game #SelfieSistersOfTheAmnioticLens. It was included in the nonsensical MIST0418 April Fool's artpack released eight years ago this month.
