@ElizabethForNV He was the perfect choice... for HIS district CD4. Yet he ran from that fight, opportunistically jumping into a race his consultants perceived as easy pickings. Thanks for your suggestion, but the proper thing to do is let CD2 voters decide without outside interference.

Settelmeyer’s website clearly and simply spells out some priorities, backed by track record. Fight for low taxes, defend gun rights, protect NV land & water, deliver for small business.

David Flippo should be ashamed of himself.

A family tragically died in Texas — a heartbreaking loss with ZERO connection to Nevada, ZERO connection to CD-2, and ZERO connection to the political narrative Flippo is trying to manufacture.

The suspect had no Nevada connection and did NOT possess a Nevada Driver Authorization Card, despite the misleading garbage being pushed to scare voters and exploit a tragedy for political gain.

Using the death of innocent people to deceive the public and score cheap political points is beyond disgusting. It’s manipulative, dishonest, and offensive to the victims’ family.

If David Flippo is willing to twist facts and mislead the people of Nevada just to get elected, imagine what he’ll do if he actually gets the job.

CD-2 deserves truth, leadership, and integrity; not fearmongering built on lies.

@JanLinNV Here in Nevada, our policy has led to hundreds of illegals being arrested or deported, whereas they weren't identifiable/in the system prior. But they were already driving untested and uninsured. Uninsured drivers in Clark Co. dropped from 20% to 10%. Safer for citizens.

As @BrutalBrittany2 has written so very well. In 2021 when the Democrats were still shutting down everything over Covid, Sen. @SettelmeyerNV was helping to open the churches, get the public back into the legislative building, and was speaking out about how Sisolak's arbitrary rules were illogical.

He opposed holding a closed session saying the "citizens are why we do this job"

He saw a danger in not having their voices on how legislation impacts them.

James Settelmeyer cares about Nevadans and fought for their right to be in the building, not just open for lobbyists.

He cares about Nevada and Nevadans. He has the experience necessary to fight for us in Congress.

I also know that when you are in legislative leadership, you are expected to make sacrifices for "the good of the team". But I trust James- I've been in the trenches with him repeatedly.

I've just been burned too many times with candidates who say all the right things, but don't have a track record to prove it. That may be fine for county commission or state assembly, but Congress I want proven.

@catherine_wines @VictorJoecks @DavidFlippoNV When Flippo says his first bill will outlaw Sharia law…. That’s a big symbolic move, but doesn’t have direct impact in Northern Nevada. Applying pressure to the post office isn’t nearly as sexy an issue, but it makes a difference in CD2 citizens daily life. That’s meaningful.

@catherine_wines @VictorJoecks @DavidFlippoNV Federal Gov overreach. Agencies like BLM or EPA often throw their weight around, make life miserable for ranchers, miners, businesses. Example- we’ve needed help with the post office- with adjusting zip codes to stop sales tax from “leaking” to other counties.
