When I'm not working as a swimming pool technical consultant I spend my life coaching kids football for CJFC fulfilling my role as a professional lace tier!!
@Detroit67Book Hi Stuart, would you mind promoting our cracking night at DeanZ, hosting a few st Johnstone personalities. Event is for a good cause raising funds for the young Crieff juniors U8’s to compete in Holland 🏴🇳🇱
¡COACHES HAVE YOUR PLAYERS WATCH THIS!
My 9 year old son & I spent 20 minutes going through this video this afternoon. He understood it & then did it in his Coerver session tonight in a 2v1 game.
The SIMPLE detail of taking your touch away from the 2nd attacker is everything.

NEW: Donald Trump has intervened in the Scottish independence debate in a bizarre rant ...
The US presidential candidate said he hopes the UK 'always stays together', and spoke extensively about Mel Gibson in the film Braveheart.
It’s coming up to 3 years since he told the club what they needed to do yet they ignored him and spent a fortune on Eredivisie flops. They took the cheapest option which ironically always turns out being the most expensive
In 2020, James Simmonds’ took his then-Chelsea Under-18s through a session on transitional play.
This practice is a possession/transition game, in which one team attempts to maintain possession, while a pressing group aims to regain the ball and then counter... 🔵↕️

Is the Multiple Direction Good for your Drills? 🧵
In this @SundayShare10, I will discuss the ✅pros and ❌cons of using drills in multiple directions.
And I will share 4 of my favorite drills to develop the players' creativity 💡👇
Sometimes you can be a critic of someone, perhaps not knowing the full facts, but I tell you this, if this lady returns to the struggle for Scottish independence: https://t.co/qZD06Ixk6d I will be right behind her. Welcome back @NicolaSturgeon I feel a reckoning is coming.
With Arsenal's dominance on the ball, we have created practices based around Saliba and Gabriel with time on the ball.
SUPPORT collective movements behind the ball
STAY ON THE BALL to provoke pressure
STEP IN WITH THE BALL and fix an opponent
PASS DETAIL: Make the next pass playable
COACHES TIP
“Use link passes from centre back after provoking pressure from an opponent.”
“We can develop 100 exercises, but the best thing is to create the street. We play 5 v 5 and winner stays on. What I see in these moments - the creation, the type of goals - it just blows my mind."

Roberto De Zerbi explains low build up idea
📍always 4+2 structure
(also as a protect when they lose the ball)
📍important is where start the pressure
(There will be a free man)
📍body shape position (CM’s) should be open and always can switch side or make simply pass under pressure.

As I’ve always said it was a team effort, John alongside the rest of the staff prepared the players to ensure they had the knowledge and belief they could win. Very good read this piece of work.
Dribbling in the foundation phase is an absolute must! Don’t be fooled by the "play & pass the ball" shouting people!
In fact, dribbling in game context & giving them the opportunity to learn to discover & exploit spaces with a ball is an essential part o/t development as a kid!
