The Dark Side has the best cookies. Working on my aim (hamartia). Pronouns are Darth/Lord. Follow/RT =/= being part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor.
Just ignore the entire first century of Mormon history, all the riots, murders, and massacres, schemes and conspiracies. And don't look at today either, the rampant suicides, and the constant deceit. No, don't look too close, just remember we're vaguely nice.
@OzLutheranChick@WmWeedon A lot of the pastors that I've had before have retired. One was for pretty severe health reasons. Another I wonder if the Synod forced him to because his last couple sermons were lashing out against Lutheran doctrine, and honestly the congregation was better off without him.
>Plot centers entirely around fighting extreme government taxation and overreach
>The Sheriff of Nottingham literally collects taxes from the church poor box
>Friar Tuck gets so fed up with the state disrespecting the Church that he physically throws hands with the Sheriff
>Casts the Crusades in a positive light
>Male protagonist who risks his life for his people
>Unapologetically traditional romance with Maid Marian without any modern subversion
>Climax is literally a raid to break political prisoners out of a corrupt jail
>Story resolves when the rightful, divinely-appointed monarch returns from the Holy Land to crush the corrupt politicians
>Ends with a beautiful church wedding and a happily ever after
We need to make Kid's stories based again
@RpsAgainstTrump So they were too busy projecting politically to play the game their livelihood is based on? Or is Trump god and can magically control them in his presence?
@Victoria1439162 I could not imagine marrying someone who has a different sacramentology than me.
Which is why my wife switched from Baptist to Lutheran before we got married.
Anatoly and He-Man going toe to toe in the gym over raising the Sword of Power was not on my bingo card 😂😂
Whoever is in charge of PR this movie is grossing CRIMINALLY lower than what it should!
@YourCalvinist Eh, Lutherans are on the fence about icons. They would quibble over the EO about veneration, but still use them devotionally. Considering the Presbyterian stereotype of no images, plain white churches, that line fits their character better, imo.
