Saw a few tornadoes and solid supercell structure yesterday in E IA after initially targeting S WI. That drive east back to the Detroit area through storms never gets any easier.

@Stormchaser_TS The real fun one is affording last minute flights to go chasing. Lucky to have a city government job that gives me the flexibility to chase like that
A few pics from the last couple days of chasing in Iowa and Illinois. Overall a fun trip despite no big tornadoes. Ready for more chase days coming up. Happy Easter!
Weak QLCS circulation went over Royal Oak/Clawson a bit ago. Visible cloud rotation but nothing crazy. Interesting way to end a few day stretch of chasing with a tornado warning at home!
Well I guess I can say I’ve seen one of the strongest tornadoes on Earth now. Here’s the Greenfield tornado tearing apart wind turbines just before it moved into town. One of the only times I’ve really been intimidated by a tornado. #iawx#tornado#sonyalpha#stormhour#iowa
@Allexissmith444 Not worth ruining a vehicle over when there’s no tornadoes. Looks active coming up so I’m gearing up for April! That radar hole is so frustrating and that stupid lake by Celina. Quite content enjoying the slop and rain at home than in Ohio
So close to my dream tornado shot in Michigan. If only the storm wasn’t crossing the front. Still a cool tornado but could’ve been way cooler.

@JayLesykWX@225MPH_EF4 Rocking the Sony a7RV with the 12-24mm GM, 24-70mm GM II and well a lot of other lenses lol. Those were with the 12-24. Also have the a1 and a7III
Should probably put some pics of the Pontiac tornado up. Like many others, saw the relatively brief Pontiac tornado up close. Also like many others, left the storm before it produced in Kankakee. Whoops!
