Pray with me (Ephesians 1)
September 25, 2025
Father of glory,
I bless Your name because You have blessed me in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. Before the foundation of the world, You chose me in Him, that I should be holy and blameless before You in love. In Your kindness, You predestined me for adoption through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of Your will, to the praise of Your glorious grace.
Lord, I thank You that in Christ I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of my sins, according to the riches of Your grace which You have lavished on me. You have made known to me the mystery of Your will, to unite all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.
I praise You that in Him I have obtained an inheritance, sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of what is to come. Open the eyes of my heart so that I may know the hope to which You have called me, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe.
Lord Jesus, You are seated at the right hand of the Father, far above all rule and authority, with all things under Your feet. You are the head of the church, and I am part of Your body. Strengthen me to walk in this identity, to live for the praise of Your glory, and to rest in the immeasurable grace You have given.
In Your holy name I pray, Amen.
