@TorontoStar This article is disgraceful! We're looking at an election that may very well affect people's democratic rights and freedoms and you are writing about what she's wearing? Let's not forget she is currently the sitting Vice-president of the United States! Respect.
@CBCNews I went on maternity leave in December. My class has had 3 supply teachers since then and still they don't have one that has the correct qualifications for the job. There is no one to fill the position.
@TPS53Div@TorontoPolice Would be great to have an officer helping with traffic at the intersection of Y&E with this chaos. 3 light cycles in a row with drivers blocking the intersection
@tdsb Any updates on air quality and policies for today? We are already sitting at moderate risk at 6 am and supposed to go up to very high by afternoon according to environment Canada.
@_MarkSutcliffe@VancityReynolds I have a new job for him. My students have written him into a play in their french class. @VancityReynolds if you're ever in the GTA the role is yours. No audition required!
@ONT_Dad The level of disrespect being hurled at nurses is enough to make anyone leave. Job satisfaction is not just about the $. People need to feel valued. Yes a wage increase recognizes that value, but so does treating those in the helping professions with the respect they deserve!
@ONT_Dad It's important to recognize that it's not all about the money either. If you went to work everyday, to take care of other people's health, while putting your own on the line, and then had to come home to hear the premier say you're just greedy would you stick around?
@wendyeforbes @jeremymulder3 @Sflecce Haha last month, one of our students hurt himself. His teacher called his mom to come get him, she asked the teacher "Why am I speaking to you and not the school nurse?" My colleague laughed. The mother said "Ford said there were nurses in schools!" We laughed, and laughed!
@TorontoTeacherX I have had over 1/3 (almost 1/2) of my class out over the course of the last week and a half with illness. In the last 2 weeks, I've had 13 of my 30 students out for 4 days or more due to illness. So much going around.
@tdsb when will you be sending direct and specific communication to your employees around expectations for today? Passing the messages through your Principals is creating a very fractured game of broken telephone with expectations varying drastically from school to school.
@tdsb Is there any new communication available for what to expect tomorrow? Staff, and families are still waiting to hear what the expectations are for tomorrow.
@truedevonthomps @saretskysego @davidclement@DavidColetto Oh good, so you've chosen a side! π Because "team proper notifications" would be the team that did not create a bill that made negotiation null and void regardless of the fact that it infringes on charter 2D in the charter of rights and freedoms.
As you hear about CUPE strike action, never forget that @Sflecce took $465 million out of the education budget to pay parents, when $235 million would have avoided a strike.

@mynamesnotgordy I'll come stand outside of your house in my tightest pants on and take maskless selfies with all the kids. I might get them sick, but don't worry, as soon as they pass through the doors of their school they'll be cured! Cause COVID doesn't spread there! I'm going as #lyinglecce
