Avni (Name changed) is an officer in a PSB.
Years of bank stress finally broke her health. She could not conceive on time. Years of treatment failed. She turned to IVF. It worked. She got twins.
But they came pre term. Both babies ended up in the NICU.
She was on sick leave through all this. Under the bipartite settlement, IVF cases get one year of maternity leave. She took it. But taking care of two premature babies needed more. She applied for one more year of sabbatical.
Her ZM sat on the file. Did not forward it to HO for three months. On purpose.
When it finally reached HO, only six months got approved. Not one year.
And the ZM was already irritated that she had been "on leave" this long.
HR did nothing. The union did nothing either.
Now she is being served a chargesheet. Unauthorised absence. And they are threatening dismissal.
A woman fights infertility, IVF, premature twins in NICU. And her reward from the system is a dismissal notice.
If this is how a PSB treats a mother, would you trust this system with your own family's future?
Tell us in the comments, have you seen HR or your ZM do this to someone in your branch?
Heartbreaking : GenZ PO committed suicide!de in Bank of Baroda, due to Work load and recruitment policy with High Bond of ₹5Lakh.
Requested to reduce stress from all the senior officers who are far from their family & Give them home posting.
Dear @PMOIndia this is the right time to implement #5DaysBanking. It will help save fuel and electricity on a massive scale while promoting sustainability and efficiency. Request you to kindly consider this progressive step. @FinMinIndia@LabourMinistry
Bankers across Odisha State shows solidarity for the innocent manager by wearing Black Badges & ready to fight if any action taken against the BM to save Local authority lapses.

Dey Fraud,
Your photoshop is really good, except for one mistake. The National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT) was constituted by the 69th Constitutional Amendment Act of 1991. It was Union Territory of Delhi in 1980.
Ask your paw paw nrndrmdi to give a better idea.
@nilesh_pawar15 Bankers in PSU:
No AC, no staff, no leave, no voice.
But targets? Sky-high.
Still, when one dies, it’s a “personal failure.”
No, it’s a policy failure — served cold in the name of reforms.

@nilesh_pawar15 Shivshankar Mitra’s tragic loss highlights the crushing weight of workplace pressure in banking. His final act of compassion donating his eyes shows his selflessness. How many more lives must be lost before the system addresses this growing crisis? #MentalHealth#WorkplaceReform
@nilesh_pawar15 This is not just a tragedy its a warning. When even the most dedicated professionals are driven to such extremes, it’s clear the system is broken. Workplaces must stop measuring success only in numbers and start valuing the wellbeing of their people #BankingCrisis#SupportBankers
@nilesh_pawar15 Staff shall have minimum leave availment policy shall be implemented, most BM felt pressure due to availing leave, most of the blackmail happened there. Transfer is second. Third Business bouque in visit of MD ED GM etc. and special one is LOGIN day..
@nilesh_pawar15 Behind every “inclusive scheme” is a banker working 24x7, unpaid for overtime, with no backup.
When they break, the system blames them.
We’re not here to be martyrs for your balance sheets.
#StopKillingBankers@AshishTekale_
@nilesh_pawar15 Heartbreaking incident and the truth nobody wants to hear that a healthy work life balance makes it easier to deal with stressful situations. Need is to stop measuring success only in numbers and start valuing the well being of employees.
#BankingCrisis#MentalHealthMatters
@nilesh_pawar15 Management is not solely responsible... Unions and their leaders are equally responsible for this horrible condition of Bankers... I can't understand how you people sleep at night when under your leadership... Your people are dying.. #bankerslife#JusticeForShivshankarMitra

Shivshankar Mitra, Chief Manager of Bank of Baroda, applied for VRS just 5 days ago.
He died by suicide — leaving behind a note saying:
“I request the bank not to put additional pressure on employees. Everyone is contributing 100%.”
🔴 Do your job to live — not to die.
💢 And to every faceless executive, sitting in glass cabins, who pushes field staff beyond limits without accountability —
👉 We’ll drag you to forums like X (Twitter).
👉 We’ll expose your targets without support, emails without empathy, and systems without soul.
Enough of quiet funerals. Now it’s time for public forums.
🛑 Banking is not slavery. It’s not war.
✊ Stand up. Speak up. For Shivshankar. For yourself.

@Bankers_We Every day meetings ,phone calls, follow up ,no leave sanctions ,targeting ,shouting infront of all the branch heads in meetings ,using abusive words is daily routine in banks
Unions must take some strict action against it
