@CristineBlake9 A6: I have been either meeting with them one on one or making screencastify videos for them where I can display their work and help them with their specific needs for that lesson. #WCSDELA
A4: For celebrations - I have a topic on my classroom called "Wellness". Each week is a different theme... kindness, STEM challenges, gratefulness, etc. This brings up discussions during our daily meetings about things on their minds that they can write and read about. #WCSDELA
A3: In Reader's, we have been focusing on comparing and contrasting two texts this week. My students enjoy organizing their thoughts but having choice (Venn Diagram vs. boxes and bullets). This week two articles on octopuses and blue whales. #WCSDELA
A3: I just had a really good conference with one of my higher level writers. She was frustrated which is new for her. ]We met in our "meeting spot" and had an awesome conference. After I helped her get back on track she was so happy to do some writing "with" me. #WCSDELA
Q2: In Writer's Workshop, my students have been rehearsing their writing using flipgrid and this way they can hear how their writing sounds and the rest of the class can offer feedback. This class LOVES to perform! #WCSDELA
Q2: I am having my students focus on nonfiction topics that I know interest them during Research Clubs in Reader's Workshop. This class was really into sea animals and different countries.. so that has been our focus so far. #WCSDELA
