Well, I’ve seen where this can lead—I lived through Venezuela under Chávez, where price controls, censorship, and government overreach turned a (could be) thriving country into a dictatorship.
Labor’s plan to control supermarket prices, despite no clear evidence of price gouging, is a step in that direction. It’s a slippery slope: more government control leads to inefficiencies, shortages, and eventually more power in their hands.
Their misinformation bill is another red flag—curtailing free speech is often the first move toward totalitarianism, and I see the same trends in the UK, where people are jailed for social media posts. It’s not 1984 yet, but it’s heading that way.
The Liberals aren’t much better—they talk about freedom but support big government through high taxes, AUKUS spending, and foreign wars, just like Labor. Both parties are more about control than freedom, which is why I say they’re fooling us.
Look at Milei in Argentina: he slashed taxes, reduced government, and inflation dropped from 211% to 4%. That’s the solution—cheap energy, less government, more freedom—not more controls.
So, I’d vote for a minor party and use the preferential system to rank the majors last:
5. Liberals
6. Labor
7. Teals
8. Greens
The first 4? Choose between @LibertariansAus, People First, Heart, common sense independents, One Nation, Trumpet of Patriots.
We need to wake up before it’s too late—there’s a saying in Spanish that comes handy “piensa mal y acertarás” it can translate to “Think about the worst that can happen, and you may be right”
The Covid 💉was an experiment on the population to do two things: to see what affects nRMA has on humans, and also to identify the rebels.
Every medical study has to have control subjects that are given placebos. If you have not had any symptoms yet, I’d say you got lucky and got the saline.
I feel for you Joey… but you still caved and took the jab rather than using your common sense and realising it was an experiment and you were the lab rat. What would they have done if you didn’t take it? Not let you eat in a restaurant?? You could have avoided it. Your choice! But agreed, it was under duress.
