Let’s be honest RTO isn’t about collaboration.

It’s about control.

It’s the insecure VP who doesn’t know how to manage outcomes.

It’s the financially constrained CEO trying to justify that 10-year lease.

It’s the mid-tier exec whose only skill is scheduling meetings.

Here’s the reality:

If you’re great you’re productive anywhere.

If you’re mediocre you need a babysitter.

We’re not going back. Not because we hate the office...

We’re not going back because we finally realized time is the currency not free snacks and fake "family" culture.

Build for outcomes.

Not optics.

@nursariipek @sikandhayat You can only keep the RNA layer and do PCA and only later add the other layers again (save them as rds).

Honestly,I would switch to scanpy and preprocess the data there, if no batch correction/Integration needs to be done with Seurat. You can convert back to Seurat for Analysis.

@sikandhayat @nursariipek If you are using rstudio check which variables use a lot of RAM and whether you still need them.
For Seurat there is also a disk-backed option available which might be suitable here as well!

The multiomics group developed a framework to analyse spatial transcriptomics and spatial metabolomics data with. Their method focuses on finding co-regulated gene-metabolite connection, which could already be validated using known facts.

This has been a blast! Yesterday we had the final presentations of my master practical course, which we celebrated with Posters and Pizza! Very proud of the achievements of the students!

The atlas group gathered data from 26 public scRNAseq and snRNAseq studies and built a cardio-vascular disease #CVD atlas comprising of quite many cells 💻. This is a fantastic resource to compare several diseases and find similarities or differences.
