Great experience at @ODEONCinemas Aylesbury this afternoon. Was even able to pre-pay for food and drinks on the app and collect in-venue. Will be back now I'm on myLimitless 👍🏼
@cineworld another Unlimited mameber lost to @ODEONCinemas myLimitless I'm afraid. I've had cards on and off since the UGC days, and have never seen anything quite like the events of the last week. I may be back if you sort things out, but given the current responses, unlikely.
@adrianmarsh@cineworld@tractorboynickw Unlimited cards already have QR codes, so why not allow group booking and update a central database that shows who's in the group booked to see thw film. The Unlimited QR then becomes each group member's tickets with photo ID at the cinema
@BearleNation@cineworld Same thing, every time I open it. I have to uninstall/reinstall to fix every time. To be fair I haven't tried force closing yet, but still...
@cineworld Getting a bit tired of the lack of ownership of the issues or statements relating to the events of the last few days. My next payment comes out next week. If nothing changes I'll be cancelling and moving to @ODEONCinemas
@cineworld thanks for the kind response via email shutting me down after I raised my concerns about the new policies, but my last reply offered to list the issues I've found on the app/website to help your dev team fix them.....
@jonopoon@cineworld I've got a booking for Endgame Encore next Friday (and my next month's payment is due next week), so I'm taking that (and the abrupt response to my emails) as my decision day if nothing has changed.
@BlazingMinds@lozfitzuk@cineworld Yeah this rule has been there a while - it just makes it worse now if/when you can finally get to your bookings to change seats
@prestonchris86@Jose_Bear@cineworld There hasn't been an official comment from them, but the understanding is it was their attempt to prevent people booking a friend/family member with unlimited to see a film, then taking someone else that doesn't have a card so Cineworld are losing money. Its a minority problem
