I think my favorite part of #MothersDay is the #DayAfterMothersDay when I get to wash all the dishes from my special day's worth of meals and treats. It really makes a person feel appreciated and understood.

I always tweet about #IndependentBookstoreDay bc it matters. This year it's on my bday. I'm #unemployed, laid off bc of Covid. Reading has been rough since being let go and the folks I built community w/ have mostly moved on, jobs in hand. Hard to celebrate today.

I just forgot my mask for the first time EVER when going in a store and I feel like pond scum. Gleefully shouted "thanks" like an idiot. I'm so ashamed. Doesn't matter but I'm fully #vaxxed, was inside for about a minute (@DunkinBoston p/u a mobile order.) Still a #maskhole!

Also- he's not 17. It's just the pandemic has been so bloody long I gave him an extra birthday apparently. Drifting into sleep after the usual C*vid insomnia I jolted awake w/this realization.
He's 16. I'm fine. It's okay. He'll be fine tomorrow.
It's fine. We found fresh rice.

My 17yo son is returning to in person school tomorrow-the first time since March 2020. He found his lunch box in his backpack, unopened since start of shutdown. His uneaten lunch was inside w/a packet of @BensOriginal #UncleBens microwave rice.
Friends, the rice expires tomorrow.

@StephofLegends I just made my Maine grandmother's recipe which calls for apple cider vinegar so they're practically a super food in my book! Blackstrap molasses plus ACV? Get me a vaccine and I'm gonna live forever I tell ya!
