@ChimericSystems Hilarious. Never saw a 3P shell like this before, but you would be surprised at what folks would spend the money on to tool. We definitely saw some counterfeit controllers (with working electronics). Low cost tools could be cut for <1/10 the cost we spend on production tools.

@GameboxUkv @Ed_Fries FYI, it’s dark because the official launch was at 7am (vs like in the US where we had “midnight madness”store openings at 12 am). Something about local Tokyo ordnance’s that prevented sidewalks from being blocked late at night or during non-traditional biz hours.

@Ed_Fries @GameboxUkv Of course! I was lucky enough to be invited to the MSKK office by Kenji Nakayama-who was my counterpart in developing the dark crystal console for Japan launch, as well as the painted white panzer dragoon console - which we had some challenging times in the GDL factory sorting.
