@KirkegaardEmil FYI replication was just one of the three papers in this package. Another was about re-analyses of the same data: https://t.co/163T4FZsv0
Every morning, I wake up and read the obituaries. If my name isn’t in there, I have breakfast. Then, I complete yet another university-mandated training of some sort. This has been my life for 17 years.
Inevitably, I always had students who couldn’t afford the books for class. Hell, I used to be that student. So I make it clear from day one that I believe in “education by any means necessary.” Do whatever you gotta do. My ancestors were book thieves, and thank god they were.
"Strategically focusing resources" means investing in @calstate STUDENTS, FACULTY, and STAFF. Not fattening up already-bloated executive salaries.
Invest in the classroom, not the boardroom.
I was honored to join @UCprez Milliken and @CalCommColleges Chancellor @sonyachristian to testify before the CA Assembly Budget Subcommittee #3 on Education Finance regarding the CSU’s budget priorities.
The CSU is prepared to strategically focus the resources entrusted to us.
It's been a great couple of days on the picket line with
@IBTlocal2010. Keep it going!
@CSUdrG Get your priorities straight and respect the trades workers who keep our campuses running.
Oh I get it, I voluntarily took on too many projects, then voluntarily took on extra projects, then got completely overwhelmed by my projects, and it's somehow my fault?
Oops, you forgot to share the price tag! 🏷️
Salaries, housing allowance, and car allowance for these three presidents is $1,447,535
Their base salaries alone could pay FIVE Gavin Newsoms!

We are welcoming new leadership this term at three CSU campuses:
@DominguezHills - Interim President Mary Ann Villarreal
Cal Poly Humboldt - President Richard Carvajal
Sonoma State - President Michael Spagna
I'm excited to see their student-centered leadership in action. 👏
Apparently, CSU presidents struggle to afford housing on their $450k salaries.
How does @calstate think their lecturers afford housing on $75k salaries?
@CSUdrG Invest in educators, not executives. Faculty cannot teach if they cannot afford to live.
While refusing to pay hard-won union raises, @calstate is trying to pay executives more.
At the next meeting, Trustees will vote to ELIMINATE limits on exec pay increases.
Meanwhile, most CSU president salaries are already higher than @POTUS.

At our university's "open" budget forum, admin only deigned to answer hand-picked questions submitted in advance.
Our @CFA_United colleagues found a way to have their voices heard anyway.
CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales has announced that the 2025-26 academic year will be his final year leading our university. 💙🐾 #CSUSB#CoyotePride#BoldVision
