UPDATE: Denver’s Office of Emergency Management tells me that the city’s tornado sirens were sounded inadvertently. This is the latest in a long string of emergency notification errors by the City of Denver.
After more than two years of independent investigation, the Civil Commission has released a comprehensive report documenting sexual and gender-based violence committed by Hamas on October 7 and during hostage captivity.
The report is not only a historical record — it is a call for recognition, accountability, and justice.

The United States has informed the guarantor nations of the Gaza peace agreement of credible reports indicating an imminent ceasefire violation by Hamas against the people of Gaza.
This planned attack against Palestinian civilians would constitute a direct and grave violation of the ceasefire agreement and undermine the significant progress achieved through mediation efforts. The guarantors demand Hamas uphold its obligations under the ceasefire terms.
Should Hamas proceed with this attack, measures will be taken to protect the people of Gaza and preserve the integrity of the ceasefire.
The United States and the other guarantors remain resolute in our commitment to ensuring the safety of civilians, maintaining calm on the ground, and advancing peace and prosperity for the people of Gaza and the region as a whole.
There's WAY too much talk about the intelligence regarding Iran's nuclear program, way too much stupid comparison to the Iraq WMD conversation.
Absolute facts:
1) Iran was enriching uranium to a level that could only have been intended for weapons
2) No civilian nuclear program would have been buried under 250 feet of dirt, rock, and concrete and hidden from inspectors
3) The regime has for decades expressed explicit desire to kill Americans to destroy Israel and kill every Jew they can find
So, whether Iran was 3 days or 3 weeks or 3 months (it was certainly less than 3 years) away from the ability to make and deploy a nuclear weapon is irrelevant.
They pose(d) a significant and explicit threat.
They should have been defanged years ago. But this probably worked out as well as it could have because, due indirectly to the Hamas attack on Israel of 10/7/23, Israel had crushed the two main Iranian proxy threats and destroyed Iran's air defenses.
Therefore, this was probably the lowest-risk time since the creation of the Iranian nuclear program to take it out.
Doing so was unquestionably the right decision.
Does not mean it's without risk. Just that the risk is less now than before. War is always risky. And I'm sure there will be some bad things that happen as a result. And still this will almost certainly, in retrospect, have been worth it.

Following the completion of the identification process by the National Institute of Forensic Medicine in collaboration with the Israel Police, IDF representatives informed the Bibas family that their loved ones, Ariel and Kfir Bibas, have been identified.
According to the assessment of professional officials, based on the intelligence available to us and forensic findings from the identification process, Ariel and Kfir Bibas were brutally murdered by terrorists in captivity in November 2023.
During the identification process, it was determined that the additional body received is not that of Shiri Bibas, and no match was found for any other hostage. This is an anonymous, unidentified body.
This is a violation of utmost severity by the Hamas terrorist organization, which is obligated under the agreement to return four deceased hostages. We demand that Hamas return Shiri home along with all our hostages.
Ariel Bibas was four years old at the time of his death, and Kfir Bibas was ten months old at the time of his death. They were abducted with their mother, Shiri Bibas, from their home in Nir Oz. Yarden Bibas, Ariel and Kfir's father, went out to protect them and was abducted prior to the abduction of Shiri and the children. Yarden returned as part of the agreement for the return of the hostages on February 1, 2025.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Bibas family during this incredibly difficult time and remain committed to doing everything possible to ensure Shiri and all the hostages are brought home at the earliest opportunity.
Most people take their children to soccer games or for a stroll in the park.
In Gaza, they bring their children to cheer as dead Jews are paraded and desecrated.
Horrific.
A lot of people bent out of shape over Standard Time vs DST are actually upset that the Earth is tilted on its axis, leading to variable day lengths throughout the year. Tinkering with clocks can’t fix that. Move to Ecuador!

We have very deliberately tried to omit value judgment and opinions from the report and give benefit of the doubt as much as possible. It’s still damning: there’s just too much wrong. Too many errors, too many impossibilities, too many signs of obvious data manipulation.
We wrote this not to give a definitive figure. We wrote it to give people the means to rebut the false narrative wherever possible.
We have relied solely on Hamas’ own figures to damn them. Our primary source, overwhelmingly, was Hamas themselves.
Let me break it down chapter by chapter.
