@juliet_turner6 Last year I managed to get a chaffinch back in its nest using a 4m long apple picker. The bird was extremely cooperative though and seemed to know exactly what to do - I doubt it’s always that easy!
Just learned about Ken Isaacs' "Superchair" (1967).
Built-in book rest, shelves, lamp, drink tray, and a seat back that folds into a bed.
A place for "inventive work and the individual search for peace of mind", as he put it.
It was meant for people to build it themselves, hence the almost unfinished look. Blueprints were published in Popular Science in 1968.

Elon Musk, you pretentious bald fuck with a micro-penis and god complex—you blew $44B on X to stroke your fragile ego after endless ratioings. Your Teslas are flaming deathtraps, SpaceX rockets are pricey fireworks, Neuralink fries brains, and your Mars fantasy is cult bait. You breed kids like a stray dog but can't hold a wife 'cause you're a narcissistic shithead. Suck a bag of dicks and fuck off to your red planet.
