The HEC Attestation Section has been the least cooperative with PhD graduates. I applied for the attestation of my PhD degree in November 2025, and my application has remained pending ever since. I completed the online application, filled out the required proforma, and paid the attestation fee.
If any additional information is required, such as the inclusion of any further drop-down option for the degree title in online proforma, HEC, as the regulatory authority, should coordinate directly with the concerned university to obtain or verify the necessary details instead of creating unnecessary hurdles for applicants.
I also lodged complaints through the HEC online helpline, but they have been in vain, as no meaningful action has been taken to resolve the issue.
It is disappointing that PhD graduates are subjected to such delays and inconvenience during the attestation process
