@PSLToFlushing Vientos isn’t going to get enough at bats with to raise his value that much. He gets 300 at bats in 2026 and hits .230 with 20 home runs his value isn’t much different than it is now. At least now he has 4 years of cheap control rather than 3 years of less cheap control next year
Another thing to monitor, the Mets swap of Acuña (Venezuelan) for Robert Jr. (Cuban) could be a key predictor of which country President Trump intends to invade next.
Keep an eye out for Stearns to acquire a Greenlandian player next.
#Mets fans 2 days ago : “who cares about the money! It’s only money.”
Mets fans today: “It’s too much money. We must protect the money!!”

Jesus Christ….okay…one more time…Steve Cohen has a lot of money. But that doesn’t mean he can just buy everything. The other person (Diaz in this case) has to want to take the money. @Mets#mets#Diaz
@michaelgbaron Maybe it wasn’t about the $$$ for Diaz and he made his decision separate of that. If Stearns counters with 71 (which he wasn’t given a chance to do) and Diaz chooses LA instead what difference does it make?
