Glasgow's "Bridge to Nowhere" over the M8 at Charing Cross photographed in the 1980s. A bit of a misnomer as it was always intended as a plinth on which to construct a building, it remained like this for 20 years until the construction of Tay House in 1992

I am delighted that the Cranhill Water Tower could become a protected building after I applied to @HistEnvScot to have it listed.
The application, supported by @C20Society, would help ensure that this iconic piece of architecture is enjoyed for future generations.
