یہاں پر اُن لوگوں کی 15 سال سے حکومت ہے جنکے عاشق سوشل میڈیا پر تجزیے کر رہے ہوتے ہیں کہ

پنجاب میں کام تو ہو رہاہے ہے لیکن كام کا نام پسند نہیں آ رہا، پینٹ کا رنگ اچھا نہیں ہے۔ یہ کام ایسے نئی ویسے ہونے چاہیئے تھا۔

جب مجھے The Wharton School میں داخلہ ملا تو میرے پاس اتنے وسائل نہیں تھے کہ وہاں کی تعلیم کے اخراجات برداشت کر سکتا۔ اُس وقت پاکستان بینکنگ کونسل کی قرضِ حسنہ اسکیم موجود تھی، جس کے تحت مجھے بلا سود تعلیمی قرضہ ملا، اور اسی کی بدولت میں دنیا کے بہترین تعلیمی اداروں میں سے ایک سے اعلیٰ تعلیم حاصل کرنے کا خواب پورا کر سکا۔
اسی ذاتی تجربے نے مجھے National Endowment Scholarships for Talent (موجودہ PakEEF) کے قیام کی ترغیب دی، تاکہ مالی مشکلات کسی بھی باصلاحیت پاکستانی نوجوان کے خوابوں اور دنیا کی بہترین جامعات تک رسائی میں رکاوٹ نہ بنیں۔
بدقسمتی سے 2018 کے بعد یہ اسکالرشپس بند کر دی گئیں، تاہم مجھے خوشی ہے کہ اب ان کا دوبارہ اجراء کر دیا گیا ہے۔ آج مجھے تین ہونہار نوجوانوں سے ملاقات کا موقع ملا جو University of Chicago، University of Oxford اور Yale University میں اس سکیم سے فائدہ اٹھا کر اپنے تعلیمی سفر کا آغاز کرنے جا رہے ہیں۔
میں نے انہیں تلقین کی کہ وہ دنیا کی بہترین جامعات سے علم، مہارت، تحقیق اور قیادت کے جدید تقاضے سیکھ کر وطن واپس آئیں اور پاکستان کی تعمیر و ترقی میں قائدانہ کردار ادا کریں۔ ہماری حقیقی قومی دولت ہمارے نوجوان ہیں، اور پاکستان کا روشن مستقبل انہی باصلاحیت، محنتی اور پُرعزم نوجوانوں کے ہاتھوں میں ہے۔ ان کی کامیابی ہی پاکستان کی کامیابی ہے۔

The Government did not have much space to reduce petroleum prices after it last week cut the prices more than the reduction in the international market. The petrol price was reduced by Rs14 and diesel by Rs7 per litre more than global prices. It used Rs3.9 billion from a special fund for one week to sustain a deeper cut.

For this week, there was almost no increase in levy on petrol that remained below Rs67 per litre. On Diesel, levy was increased by Rs6.6 but it remains within maximum limit of Rs80 per litre. The Government’s stance is correct here.

USAID funneled $53 million to EcoHealth Alliance, which funded coronavirus gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

That research likely created COVID-19.

Millions died.

Trillions were lost.

Lives were destroyed.

USAID has a history of being a CIA-front organization.

Former USAID Director John Gilligan admitted the agency was "infiltrated from top to bottom with CIA people," explaining that operatives were embedded throughout USAID's overseas activities.

In 2013, a State Department cable published by WikiLeaks described USAID's strategy in Venezuela as "penetrating Chavez's political base," "dividing Chavismo," and "isolating Chavez internationally."

In 2014, the Associated Press revealed that USAID secretly funded a Twitter-like platform in Cuba designed to build political opposition.

From 2009 to 2019, USAID partnered with EcoHealth Alliance on the PREDICT program, identifying 1,200 new viruses, training 5,000 people, and expanding dozens of research laboratories worldwide.

Then COVID emerged at one of those labs.

In 2022, former EcoHealth Alliance Vice President Andrew Huff alleged that Peter Daszak had ties to the CIA.

In 2023, a CIA whistleblower alleged that agency officials offered incentives to analysts to support a natural-origin assessment and downplay evidence pointing to a lab leak.

The CIA covered up the lab origin of COVID-19 because USAID funding was central to the creation of COVID-19.
