Flashed a VRM controller with a cheap USB adapter so a Dell T7920 workstation would accept a Xeon Platinum it was not designed for.

Picked up a Dell Precision T7920 at auction. Dual-socket LGA 3647, 1400W PSU, hot-swap bays, built like a tank.
Goal: turn it into a cybersecurity lab machine

The 8259CL is a cloud/OEM SKU. The VRM won't deliver enough current to it by default.

Workaround: use a MCP2221a USB-to-I2C adapter to flash the onboard PXE1610C VRM controller via I2C to raise ICC_MAX

Implemented HTTP staging for the Sliver implant via a download cradle. Direct upload is still an option.
