اليوم، يحاصرنا الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في مساحة لا تتجاوز ١٣٣ كيلومترًا مربعًا من أصل ٣٦٥ كانت تشكّل مساحة غزة.

بدأ الأمر بخطوطٍ صفراء، ثم راحت تُرسَم كل يوم خطوطٌ برتقالية جديدة. ننام على حدودٍ مستحدثة، ونستيقظ على حدودٍ أشدّ ضيقًا، تلتهم أرضنا وتدفعنا نحو المجهول.
ومنذ عام ١٩٤٨، ما فتئ وطننا يتقلّص إلى بقعةٍ متآكلة، تُطبِق علينا أكثر فأكثر.

Narrated Abu Huraira رضي الله عن : A man said to the Prophet ﷺ , "Advise me! "The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not become angry and furious." The man asked (the same) again and again, and the Prophet ﷺ said in each case, "Do not become angry and furious." Sahih al-Bukhari 6116
