The passionate and loyal nation of Iran,

As you have been informed, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the presidents of Iran and America. On the path toward reaching this stage, the officials involved made great efforts out of concern and with good intentions. Of course, it was the American president who, out of desperation, used various forms of leverage to bring this about. In principle, I had a different view.

However, because of the commitment (insistence) that the honorable president, as head of the Supreme National Security Council, gave me on behalf of himself and the other members regarding the safeguarding of the rights of the Iranian nation and the Resistance Front, and because he explicitly accepted responsibility for it, I issued permission for it.

He also stated clearly that if the American side seeks to make excessive demands, they will not submit to them. From this moment, we; meaning you, the proud nation, and this humble servant; will be awaiting the fulfillment of the stated conditions.

However, it is obvious that the in-person negotiations that will take place in the future do not mean acceptance of the enemy’s view. We hope that the blessed prayers of our Master (may God Almighty hasten his reappearance) will bring all kinds of divine assistance and victories for the honorable nation of Iran.

An alarming rise in cases of drug abuse has emerged in Ladakh, putting almost every age group at a grave risk of their lives. What is more disturbing is the rapidly growing indulgence of minors and girls in substance abuse.

As many as 298 new cases of drug abuse including 101 cases of opioids and 40 cases of cannabis and poly-substance abuse, have been reported in the recent months.

I have directed DGP to ensure strict enforcement against drug menace in the Union Territory and launch a crackdown against drug traffickers and eliminate their hideouts. Strict action will be taken against anybody found indulging in drug trafficking or its consumption.

I appeal all social, religious, cultural, political and educational institutions and their leaders to create awareness and caution among parents and youths against the horrific menace of drug abuse, that can destroy the future of our children.

I also urge every citizen of Ladakh to report any incident of drug trafficking or drug abuse, that comes to their knowledge.

A truly commendable initiative by the dedicated volunteer youth of @JUIAK_Ladakh .
Despite repeated appeals to the responsible authorities like @nhidcl over the deteriorating condition and unattended potholes on the #Kargil #Zanaskar national highway from 0 to 30kms, no meaningful action was taken. Refusing to remain silent spectators to public inconvenience and risk, these young volunteers stepped forward with a spirit of selfless service and collective responsibility, undertaking the work of filling potholes through self-help efforts in Minji #Kargil.
This act reflects the true essence of community service — where citizens rise to serve society when institutions fail to respond.
